Being called to live in Christian community, we care for one another through the many ups and downs that life brings. Birthdays, anniversaries, illness, a new baby, aging parents, a new home, or a death in the family are all opportunities to practice a life of love and service. Members of the Pastoral Care and Fellowship Committee send cards, deliver meals, offer transportation, run errands, and deliver flowers from the altar. The parish priest visits those in hospital or who are confined to their homes, taking time to listen, pray, and share communion with them.
We also have a dedicated group of Stephen Ministers.
Caring for one another also means having fun together. The men of our parish cook up a fantastic pancake breakfast for the parish on the Sunday before Shrove Tuesday.
